It comes off the windshield reasonably easy. I don't know much about any warranty. I use this with my HTC EVO 4G phone and it works pretty well. No real complaints other than when it is connected to the air vents (2010 Kia Forte); it makes an annoying rattling sound. Frame is solid and sturdy. I love the suction cup, too.
I take the mega grip off and slip it on the vent mount in my car. The vent mount is okay, I'm not a big fan of them but it gets the basic job done.
My phone stays in well (Samsung mesmerize) and has never fallen out. Excellent product, highly recommend.
The suction cup design is the best I've used. There is a wide variety of adjustments and configurations for how you can use this mount. The windshield mount, however works very well and holds firmly. If I had to do over, I'd still get this, but I wouldn't bother with the vent mount.
It works as advertised. I have it mounted on top of my dash so I can photo things I drive by.
This product is much better than a similar item I recently tried that cost just a few dollars less. This unit fits very well in the vents of the circular mini cooper, No adjustment needed at all Very happy with unit strong spring that holds unit in as well.
Despite its poor design, it does function properly as a mount with my Samsung Galaxy S 4G. I clipped this onto my vent and am surprised at how well it works. One thing I was wondering about prior to purchasing was how the release function operated. The way it works is when you want to put your phone/GPS in the mount; you make sure it's released (by pressing the release button). The phone doesn't move too much if any while going down the road. And it's not a bad price.
You can put this puppy anywhere on the windshield and have excellent access to your phone. I have a great camcorder and this unit allows me to swivel my phone to horizontal position and use my camcorder (or camera) while driving with just the push of a button. If it works just great for this phone with the Otterbox, it will work for any phone. I have it on the windshield and haven't had any problems at all, great product! It includes multiple mounting options: Windshield, Dashboard, and Vent. My only caution is that if you try to use this product with a phone that is too narrow, it won't hold the phone.
